BUG: Zois seeing through walls

I've noticed several times now, with multiple families that I've been playing, that the Zois seem to be able to see through the walls of both homes and public buildings.
This has the side-effect of causing them to become startled whenever they pass by another Zoi using the toilet, or taking a bath or shower, even though that other Zoi is in another room.

I did try going to the website to report this, but the site was completely unhelpful in telling me how to submit a bug. The only thing I could find was a FAQ saying to include a save file.

Does it only happen when walls are down, or partly down? I had a zoi step into the room behind her while taking a photo of her husband with the smartphone when I had the interior walls down. I've never had it happen when the walls are fully up. I don't know if it's related, but maybe there's an issue with the state of the wall visibility.
