inZOI
What am I supposed to be doing?
Okay I get that it's "sandbox" or whatever, but at least creating starting goals so that you can figure out how the game works would seem reasonable right? Like... I don't know something as important as how to get my Zoi a job? Or where to even BUY the stuff that they're giving my Zoi as a goal? Like I get wanting it to be sandbox or whatever, but if you know that your game works differently in ways from others of its type why would you not have a tutorial? My enthusiasm for this game is quickly waning... any idea how to go about getting my zois employed? Having freedom is cool and all but a goal to start until you learn the ropes would have made more sense to me.

google The Sims.
There are mini tutorials under psycats stuff. Though I only glanced at them since I am a long time sims player and already know what to expect as far as most functionality and where to find things.

Yep, your right there is nothing to do that isn't surface grade crayon eating. Majority of the time I spent building my house until the editor seams to have changed (why are pieces just becoming an attached block). So, really this is a simulator of life if you live in a cubical with no life to simulate your better off just living and let this thing cook for about a year.

It's early access, so I suggest gave them feedback so they might improve game.
About 10 hours in ...

I have played the Sims, and would consider myself a novice. Figuring out how to address the "goals" is part of the game. I intentionally avoided Twitch streams on InZOI or YouTube videos, because part of the game is figuring out what and how to play the game.

Each play session I have goals. Sometimes I meet them and some times I don't. It was in a second or third play session that I figured out how to do a feature, and was in shock as to the increased play-ability I would be able to experience.

There should be plenty of "let's play InZOI" or how to play videos on YouTube that should help provide pointers on what to do.
