Yes, and very much so. In my first game which lasted more than 4 weeks (game time obviously) it went from 90 zois to more than 260.

but there aren't that many housing in game, so most of these zois are homeless?

All non controlled zois look after themselves completely

even if i played them once they will look out for themselves as long as it's not the active zoi?

Well, you have to make sure they have a house. The zois controlled by the player and then ‘released’ if you place them in a lot, make sure they have a house with all the services, otherwise they will go starving and they will be in front of the empty lot without doing anything... Until they die? I don't know. I always make sure that if I make any changes to the zois with residences, if I move them to another place that lot has a house on it.

From the way i saw zoi's in a surf shop a few days back walking around like drunks. It's very possible the homeless zoi's are poorly looked after through the autonomy on this game.
I've noticed from working the Karma Report in Edit City both at both night and day is there appears to be substantially more Zois present in the daytime than during the night . The difference is about three times the number in the day as there are at night.

I guess many of the Zois are just commuters and live in Zoi suburbia.

Can we control homeless zois? I have only been able to control zois that have residences.

That's why I was only talking about zois with residences, because I haven't found any way to use homeless zois or those that appear in the family menu but are not installed.

I think I've seen what you're talking about too, but because I think the game itself gives some random negative condition to some of the zois that are spawned in the venues, except for the walkers, which I have always seen fine.

Yes, I have thought that too. Sometimes I've seen the totals change. I think it's because the game takes out homeless zois and puts them in as needed but doesn't keep them in the game so as not to overload performance.

What about zois I add without a house? I don't see them in karma report or in the city anywhere.
