Hello, during these new updates that fix a lot of things, aren't they going to fix the bug where there are no NPCs that can have same-sex relationships in the city? For me, as an LGBT person, I'm really upset with how little attention the team has paid to the community regarding this. There are always updates and nothing about fixing the gay Zoi problem. And this bug just doesn't seem like something that's too difficult to fix... the updates we've received have fixed much more complex problems.

But that's okay, I'll have to wait, I'm sad because I can't enjoy the game properly. I'll only be able to play after they fix this. And I know that for now we can marry Zois of the same sex that we create ourselves, but the fun of the game, at least for me and part of the audience, is creating a Zoi and exploring relationships by meeting NPCs in the world, not creating two Zois and making them marry.

I kind of have no choice but to wait. But I'm afraid that this fix will never come, you know? And it's important to me, and to the LGBT audience in general, to have the same gameplay as straight people or it doesn't make sense, at least for me, to continue having this game... and I spent money on it. Having at least some information saying when this update might come would already be comforting enough. Please take this into consideration! 🏳️‍🌈😿

Like what is actually going on in your head when you decide you need to absolutely ensure gay NPC's are active in the game world of the video game I'm playing? I'm legit curious here.

It is not being removed.

Its an option.

It is a life sim and perhaps real world aspects evade you.

They may later provide sliders to adjust but certainly your opinion to erase it for others is not valid in any shape or form.

I didn't call for it to be removed. I called for it to be made optional in the settings.

Its a life sim buts its also a video game. The way you can tell that is I can't actually do all the things in the real world I can do in the game. Say like create people, or delete them.

Having the option to completely turn it off in my own game is entirely valid. Why do you feel you get to determine what runs on my PC?

Main reason Is simple, because we are constantly met with non optional straight content in games. So if we have to constantly consume straight content (unless we want to avoid like 95% of video games), there should be no problem for straight players to see a couple of gay NPCs from time to time too.

I’m fine with toggle option, if it’s equal - you get an option for everyone to be straight or for everyone to be gay.

Some people want it to be forced. The fact that he instantly said 'It is not being removed' just shows that he didn’t even read what other users wrote in this discussion.

They are actually the second. Hetrosexual women are the highest number of players, at least for the Sims. I suspect inZOI might be even more distorted towards men then the Sims due to the hardware requirements.

Heterosexual women probably consume more gay media than gay people themselves, so it’s generally a statistic in favour of adding gay content.

If there was demand for that sure. People can have what they want in their own game provided its legal as far as I'm concerned. I just don't see a lot of people calling for control of the ethnic population makeup in the game world or caring.

Yes. Forcing stuff into my games that I don't want to engage with because of your own personal values is forcing something. This is not the world. This is an offline video game running my own machine.

I don't have a problem with it being an option. I have a problem with it not being an option.

This is a video game, not the real the world. There is a major difference.

I tested it.

You have to set both to Attracted to Female and interested in relationship. can be separate homes.

IF same home or a married couple rather then going through the steps of datign or marriage. You still set the same but (UNCHECK INTERESTED IN RELATIONSHIPS) for married couples - or they will flirt with others. set them as partners in the family chart when you add family.

If separate homes and not married they need to be INTERESTED IN RELATIONSHIP. to be able to work to dating and marriage.

make sure the automation is on the zoi to visit / date.

You can also swap to the other zoi to over ride it.

Lack of attraction to opposite sex doesn’t mean lack of reproduction.

- there’s IVF, surrogacy, or even just simply regular reproduction if a gay man and lesbian woman come to agreement.

Not to mention stuff like artificial wombs which will be a thing in not so distant future.

They keep calling it a 'bug' but that makes me feel so iffy. If it was reversed and there was a 'bug' where every zoi in the city was gay, that wouldve been fixed SO FAST. So yeah. 'Bug' is a very loose term in this situation
