What is your point.. because you don't seem to understand, that every game in existance does exactly the same... when in Early access.. people buy try and wait, some play constantly, and so on and so forth.. all this checking the stats is totally pointless and makes you look a fool.
and don't forget that some countries are in sleep mode while other are just waking up..
again your argument on how many people are playing at any point in time is rediculous, pointless, unnecessary,
I don't think he will check the stats when update are done in may. Trolls are so easy to spot nowadays. It's a wonder that their species still exist.
tbh its easier talking to a brick wall than these trolls.
it achieves the same thing. and ends up being the same thing
The point is that I had hopes for this game. I want this game to succeed. But I don't want to invest time in a game that has bleak future.
And the numbers are the quickest and easiest indicator of that.
For me time has great value since there are too many games.
The actual numbers right now are lower than 3300. Today's peak was 4500. At this rate within 3 weeks there will be less than 100 people playing.
they will rise again with updates and further development
Edit:
is single-player the player numbers have no influence on you.
and it's Early Access even if the player count is low, they won't give up on the game overnight. sales numbers are much more important, in this development phase.
and Most players will only play the game continuously when the game is in full release.
full release if the player numbers are low 24h, only then can you perhaps worry a bit.
so this is pretty pointless right now
As others have said the numbers are actually impressive. I got a good chuckle out of Total War Pharaoh having an all time high player count of 5400ish. Serves CA right. LOL!
Look up the graph from BeamNG it started with just 200 players then after 2 years it was around 1500 players and now BeamNG has 28000 players playing everyday. The devs of BeamNG did an amazing job for all these years. I hope InZOI devs will do the same
More will play games like the sims simply because a lot of them have invested money in all the exp packs which for that game at normal price is now over $1000 (currently 94 packs to buy if you want them all ) so they will want to get their moneys worth .
Exactly! If there are 4,000 online playing that doesn't mean only 4,000 played the game that day or those 4000 are playing all day long. If 4000 were only playing an hour to make a character to upload to Canvas every hour that would be 96,000 players that day, or roughly 10% of the number of copies sold. How many copies of The Sims 4 have been downloaded over the past 10 years? Probably 10% of those with The Sims 4 are actually playing the game at any given time too.
I could say similar with ETS 2.. it started slow and now its a phenomenon in its own right
If you believed in this game (or had hopes), you wouldn't post this here. You would share actual feedback with developers. I wrote literal essays on their discord regarding what I feel the game needs. Yes, even if you don't own it, through videos you could point out so much to help them get it right.
What have you done instead? You created one topic that is clearly bait and proceed to religiously update it to prove some imaginary point that somehow, based on numbers, the game has bleak future. No you don't look forward to seeing this game succeed. You don't look forward to anything. You look forward to people giving you attention.
You didn't look into updates that it has received since then that clearly address community concerns (like disabling aging, reducing pop-pups, slowing down relationship rate). You didn't so much as GLANCED at anything happening around this game. What you did instead, you went ahead and posted some idiotic numbers, in hopes that people will give you attention and to put down other people's enjoyment. You're malicious.
You didn't look into those because you don't actually WANT this game to succeed and you haven't had hopes to begin with.
If you cared about this game, you'd go onto its discord and read KJun's concerns to understand developers. If you cared about this game t begin with, you'd see that developers are working and so far already released hotfix after hotfix, addressing pressing issues that were immediately pointed out by community.
Not to mention, your timing is hilarous, given that developers just wrote a lengty letter to the community regarding their plans.
Please, point me to another developer like Krafton doing this. I'll wait.
Oh better yet, show me The Sims team doing that.
