Already down to 24,000?
A game like this should have a lot of replayability. Yet the population is already down to low 20ks.
I get this is EA but thats a big dip in numbers in short span of time. Specially for a game like this.

This is early access for a single player game. Things will fluctuate and you cant look at how many are currently playing. With each update there will be a spike of course. Also this time around I think they got a lot of gamers who arent used to early access or they came into it as a sims player expecting a ton of content lol

If I play early access at all then only very rarely..
i play the current version of the game very little because I always do it that way. with Early Access title, or I test, cheat and mod a lot.
I play properly when the game is in full release, I don't want to be bored with it before it's fully released. It deserves a change. I want a competitor for monopoly holder The Sims.
I don't care about Steam player numbers in early access, that is meaningless.

but if you want to rate the number of players. the player numbers are impressive for such an early version of 0.1 in EA every update will rise and fall the player numbers again.

I have played 155 hours so far and keep finding new things to do and see. I am not worried about the numbers. Do you know how many games don't even break 1,000 concurrent players? It isn't like this is an MMORPG where you need tens of thousands of players interacting with each other.

I really don't care that the paid EA shills are leaving the Sims 4 running to artificially inflate numbers. We knew this was all going to come to pass and have seen it all before and it goes like this. EA shills give a biased negative review on YouTube pretending it is an unbiased review after only playing the game a few hours and only experiencing a small fraction for the game. Rinse and repeat, yawn.
I'm having a mixed feelings about this game ngl. btw I just uninstalled it a week ago.

There's (probably) hundreds of feature that you can't do in Sims game. But there's (probably) also hundreds of feature that only exists in Sims game.

The build mode is my main issue. Like at some point it's satisfying, but at some point it's annoying. Like feature to edit colours, delete tool, can't place certain items unless you hold "alt" button, placing floors without building a whole room, grids too small to see, etc.

Next, the movement issue, where you moves your characters with WASD. A bit annoying because I've played almost all of Sims games, both Cities Skylines, Anno, and other RTS games in the past, All of these games, moves their camera with WASD. Idk why Inzoi forces us to use WASD.

I'm sure there's a lot other issue that makes the gameplay a bit annoying. But for me, these are the two major issues that really turned me off.

Lastly, one of the reason why Sims 4 is still thriving, is because mods, scripted mods.
Inzoi hasn't reach that level of "modding" yet. If the devs made this game way even more moddable, I can guarantee people will eventually jump right back in.

This is the way!
around 5k rn. its looking pretty bad. they should update their lgbt options quickly before everyone leaves

What part of Early Access do you not understand? The game is Not in a release state. There are many features that are not in place. For example, there are a huge number of lgbtq people who play the Sims. That feature is not even in the game yet. You must create your own character and add to game. Another example, I love pools and swimming. Not yet in the game. I enjoy ghosts and vampires. Ghosts are promised and not in game yet. Give the game time to mature.

I don't know if its bad, but in my case, with most EA games. I play a little bit. then leave and wait. Usually after 3 major updates i give in a next go....

There is nothing wrong with waiting for official release.

IIRC:
Click on your character icon, when "focus on zoi" appear on character icon, you should be able to use WASD to move the camera.
