But over 100k people already paid for it. So the money is not the factor for the dip.
The competition is F2p but very expensive if you include the dlcs.
Are you really comparing BG3 with this game? I am not really a DnD gamer. The only reason I am even playing the game is because of how popular it is and it has some things (like story and customization) that I do like.
In other words if it wasn't such a popular game and such raving reviews I wouldn't be playing it.
I will eventually buy inZOI. The question is whether to buy it now or on sale when it probably has more content as well.
Sometimes I switch back to Sims, sometimes I play a completely different genre. I've never been the type to dedicate my entire gaming life to a single game.
I think there are more people like me. Of course, the numbers drop from time to time, that's normal.
Besides, I strongly believe that once the second mod kit is released (not Blender/Maya, but Blueprint later this year) and we get gameplay mods, the numbers will rise significantly. Games like these live through mods.
Character interactions alone need to come a long ways before the game will catch any more attention.
Better mechanics then Sims, better graphics then Sims, more options then Sims, but it still is just Sims, nothing new.
