Doubts about using MSI Afterburner
Hello everyone, I am new to using msi afterburner and almost new to using pc gaming so forgive me for these doubts.
My doubt has to do with the program. I want to see on screen while playing inzoi the basics (CPU AND GPU temperature, percentage, ram, fps and vram). When it comes to vram, I have seen that you have to put in “show information on screen” the box “memory usage”. But there is also another section (by clicking on the 3 dots on the right and activating gpu.dll) which is “GPU dedicated memory usage” that I can activate. Isn't it then the same? In the game menu it shows me as “memory usage” 3.5 gb (3500mb) but as “GPU dedicated memory usage” 3.3 gb (3324mb). What is the difference? Do they both show the Vram? The information is very similar but there is a 200mb difference. Thanks first of all

one is the whole used GPU/texture budget including system RAM, the other just shows as it says: just the dedicated video RAM part
you know, you could always just rtfm or https://www.reddit.com/r/MSI_Gaming/.
it is obvious a difference between "memory usage" and "dedicated memory".
Memory usage shows VRAM usage
Dedicated GPU Memory is the amount of VRAM on your GPU

The "Memory Usage" is total Video Memory allocated and may show other buffers than just on-board memory.
The other shows strictly usage of on-board GPU memory.

I personally use the "Memory Usage" paired with yet another option called "GPU dedicated memory usage \ process" which shows currently active process memory allocation.
