How early access is this?
How much content is obviously missing? How much does it feel like a finished game?

Creating characters and houses is incredible currently. However, actual gameplay is both buggy, weird, and lacking content. However, there's still a lot of interesting things to discover gameplay wise. You'll mostly enjoy the game if you want to make all sorts of characters and don't mind starting households over as updates come.

Early Access?
if you mean how long has it been in early access? about a week.
if you meant how developed is it since it went into early access? at it's earliest point, yet to have the first big update drop.

Currently it has all the basic content to be considered complete as far as the developers are concerned, at least for now. Not sure what is meant by obvious since technically nothing is missing, it's still being developed.

I don't know about feeling, but this game is just starting development through early access and it will take a while to reach the finished game for release. i can't possibly answer when that will be or have any feeling towards it.
From a gameplay perspective the core mechanics are there. Some of the details need expanding on, but for the most part it's enjoyable. There's a few bugs here and there, but nothing game breaking I've ran into in my rough 10 hours play time (one crash so far, but I had switched my settings from high to medium.) I'd say if you are on the fence and want to play it the $40 asking price is pretty reasonable.
