Groundskeeper Willie and his tartan skirt has caused many incidents over the years. It helped him win a basketball game and put the police off him when he was being interviewed and even mistakenly taken for a woman and mobbed by nerdy men at a stargate presentation.
That kilt when worn without anything else for a proud scotsman could be a serious advantage.

The Kilt is usually worn by those of Celtic or Gaelic background, but a fun fact, the U.S. Mail had a vote almost 20 years ago if a work kilt should be introduced, of course it failed to pass.
Once, but i was wearing shorts underneath, so it felt less awkward than straight out Y fronts or Boxers or nothing at all. It was also a re-enactment of a roman soldiers outfit, the outfit was heavy and restrictive in places, the shield was heavy and the pilum's as well when carried around, surprisingly the sword was lighter than it appeared.
No joke or dare about it, i wanted to do something authentic.
In the here and now rather than in the past that doesn't matter to current decisions, a lot of men don't have... well.. the stones to wear such a thing when they are incredibly uncomfortable with the whole idea (inhibitions). what that has to do with any other man is an individual choice for the same reason, do they feel comfortable with it?

I've had female tomboy sims who have dressed like men, but i honestly hadn't considered it for men to dress like women though. it's not something i'm too familiar with and after the whole opening to the Paris Olympic Summer games not long ago, i saw a lot of crossdressing, it made me extremely uncomfortable to watch any more to the point i had turn the tv off, not because i was judging but because i didn't know what to make of it, it was way outside anything i ever seen or experienced before, i can honestly say i was disturbed by it. I didn't give it a moments thought though after recovering, i didn't want to judge as everyone can choose how they wish to dress up.
it may have been a subconscious reaction due to the way i was brought up with the values i have? i mean i could create any excuse, but honestly i genuinely had no idea why i was so uncomfortable watching a crossdresser dancing around on a stage on a bridge in the opening games.
It's for that same reason i may never create a crossdressing male on this game, though i do have homosexual couples with families and singletons as well, so it's not like i'm closed minded about it.
Sorry, I'm in one of my wacky moods and couldn't help myself, and that's the only thing I could possibly pick on in your reply.
It's simple: you can do/wear whatever/whoever you like within legal bounds; as long as it's in private as appropriate, and/or in a way that doesn't hurt anyone, DILLIGAF?
Are you saying male NPC's in your game are autonomously wearing dresses and skirts/blouses?
I am not sure anyone else has encountered this, maybe contact the Dev's via their Discord and let them have your SaveGame?
But also, if accidentally putting your dude in a dress (or the mere suggestion it could be done) is rocking your world in a bad way, maybe being that upset over some virtual fabric is a learning opportunity.
