Worth it?
I liked screwing around in the sims back in the day. Is this worth the price?

the game is currently in early access, so the features are a little limited, and it doesn't flow together as naturally as the sims, but I have faith that as the game continues to develop, it'll be a lot better than the sims. right now, $40 for an unfinished game is meh, but in the future, i think this is the kind of game that could reasonably charge $70. there is also plans for dlcs, so i fully expect that they're gonna charge a fair bit for that.

If you are mostly interested in the gameplay aspect then wait at least 1 year until you purchase it. I just wanted to support another company which tries to create another life-sim. I play it now mostly to report bugs and give them feedback on their discord. Not because the gameplay is so awesome and deep.

Right now it's more of a demo than a game. You can walk around and interact with things/people but it's very shallow, more a proof of concept than an actual game.

It's looking very promising but if you buy it now, it's mostly for the discounted price and the hope that the game will eventually get there in terms of depth.
