inZOI
The usual question
....is this game worth it compared to sims 4 and considering it's in early access?

Go look at a few youtubers playing it - then make up your own mind . Dont forget Spec requirements

No, not yet at least. I spent about 10 hours trying to figure out what this game is. Currently it's basically an AI tech demo. I'm not convinced going the AI route with the features is the best choice. But maybe they can pull it off eventually. Personally I'm not very optimistic
Little known fact, Sims was originally designed to draft houses in, not as a game. They added npcs later and found it fun then sold a game instead.

With that being said, Sims has had a lot more time to 'marinate'. There's more for your characters to do and interact with and the housing part doesn't feel painful to tinker with whereas it's pretty rough around the edges- especially when fine detail decorating. I gave an unofficial demo a whirl and my advice is to let it cook. You're more or less buying a korean character creator which if it's your first will blow your mind since their devs have a knack for giving you a wild amount of customization.

If you're into modding, definitely let it cook.

Briefly,
in the aspect of amount of content InZOI now > Sims 4 without any DLCs
SIms 4 with all DLCs > current version of InZOI

From the viewpoint of content quality, InZOI is much much better than Sims 4

Plus, InZOI has a huge potential for the future, because it seems to me that developers really work on the game, not selling lgbt clothes packs one after another over and over again like EA

The answer to this question is a little complicated. What one might think is worth it might not be for another. I think I am happy to have the game. It is not as polished as the sims. However the sims has been out for years side by side comparison at this stage is not fair. The graphics are amazing. And I think this is a very good start that could lead to a much better game in the end. There are loads of things that they can do to improve the game, but even that statement is not fair because the same could be said for most other games, this also is subjective. I am looking forward to see where this game goes.

would be more fair to compare inzoi with sims 5

is Inzoi better than sims 5 ? Yes, because sims 5 doesn't even exist and we re all stuck with an old buggy mess of a game called sims 4
*looks at the price of sims 4 with all those 9000 DLCs* Well if we talk about value per dollar - inZoi takes the cake here. At least for now.

It's pretty much the bare-bones version of Sims 3 (yes, 3!) with very good graphics in direct comparison. I mention Sims 3 because you can explore the whole city without having to spend time in loading screens like it was back in part 3.

The three main issues for me are:
1. From the technical point it's badly optimized so you need a beefy PC and at least I struggle with regular crashes back to the Desktop in Live Mode.
2. Content is limited since the game is still like the skelleton experience. If you come from Sims 4 you will definitelly miss a lot of stuff you can't do yet.
3. The gameplay mechanics are somehow tedious and boring because they don't function correctly, are too simple and dull and so you can become the best friend, best work colleague and true love of two Zois in like one day while interacting with them for a short time because the balancing is still not there.

At the moment stuff like different characters and life goals simply don't work and so it's easy to get like 1000 friends in a short time while the work and university stuff on the other hand takes forever to get a little bit of progress and can't be sped up.

The character and the house designer are suberb, though and if this is your thing you can spend many hours on creating the perfect Zois or Houses that match your taste.

In my opinion the price is a little bit too high for what the game offers but Krafton already promised that all DLCs in the Early Access will be for free for any buyer and that it might be sold more expensive once V1.0 gets released. We'll see if they keep their word.

IMHO, yes. Especially considering the price
It has lots of things to improve and it's annoying in some areas, but it isn't bad and it's a good start

Yep. For an Early Access title it has a strong foundation and a promising future. But you have to decide if you really want to pay the high price for the little it offers right now.

https://www.pcgamer.com/games/life-sim/inzoi-roadmap-game-updates/

If you purchase during Early Access (EA), you get all the updates and one DLC update for free until the full release at the price tag of an EA title. Once it hits full release, that Cat Island City DLC update might not be free anymore, from the look of how they have called that update a DLC. Obviously, we don't know exactly how many more updates there will be beyond the one already announced on the roadmap after December, but that’s what purchasing during EA gets you: enjoying all the perks, arguably at a lower price than when the full release drops. Just putting it out there as a reminder.

At first I would have said no. However, if you have a really good computer, AND an Nvidia card, Inzoi is actually pretty fun to play with right now. Just realize that the creation tools are what's nearly perfect currently, while actual gameplay can be pretty basic and broken at times. Better than the current price tag of Sims 4 though.

well, what people always wanted from a sims5 was the build/cas of sims4, world of sims3 and gameplay of sims2.

atm, the build/cas is v similar to sims4, so thats good, and will be expanded on i guess

the worlds we have are pretty large, but a bit empty, but that can also be expansed upon later

the gameplay is a bit lacking atm, but with the addition of the AI i see alot of potential of sims2-like indepth gameplay

so it has alot of potential, but still has a long way to go

I played it, refunded it so I can buy it at a later date. It has some promise, but I would suggest playing Sims 1-3 over Inzoi if you're looking for in depth gameplay. Give it some time to develop before buying essentially.

If you're just looking for a doll up or house building sim, then go ahead and play sims 4 since it's free.
