Putting Leftovers in Fridge

any reason why you cant save leftovers in the game? I made a cake and a whole pizza, ate one slice, went to clean up my plate and she took the full plate of pizza to the sink!

i think its just cuz its in early access, i think this game already got delayed several times, prolly will get patched in the future

You can add them to your bag. It seems weird but it serves the same purpose,but is ultimately the only option you have RN to save food/items for later. Fridges are used as a "store" essentially not a tool it's unfortunately why things cost money to cook.

I hate this too. My work around is... 1- after they make a pizza or cake; 2- select take a slice or piece, instead of eat a slice. 3- then have them put the slice in their bag. 4- do that with all but the last slice. 5- then eat the last slice. Now you will have the left overs in your bag and not down the garbage disposal.

You can just put it in your pocket—your pocket has built-in time magic, so anything you put inside stays fresh forever!

Annoying that when you pick the crops they put each one on a table somewhere and then go back for the next ,

thank you guys all so much for the feedback about being able to put it in your bag and save it for later! That’ll definitely help until they come out with an update to be able to put leftovers in the fridge :) !
