My Zoi died on the first night

I'm not entirely sure what's going on, all my needs are maxed, my karma is above average, but whatever I do, my Zoi will die from natural cause on the first night during it's sleep. Seems a bit fast to die from natural cause when I haven't even played 2h and even passed a day :/

natural cause I think it was random, due to an illness or organ failure or something. I have no idea. But the % probability is far too high for the dead. You die quickly from many things.

Damn that sounds insane.
They really need to tone that down by a lot

I am not so fast with my conclusion. This game is tougher than most people think. A death on the first day can not be an illness, even when you forget to eat, you still don't die on the first day. Looks more like some accident.

I can't remember if natural/random deaths were ever a Sims thing. I almost never had any characters die anywhere in those games, and out of everything hunger was always the most common. Sounds like InZoi might need to dial it back a bit.

I understand that it can be harder, but I had everything right, karma was up, all vitals were more than ok, wasn't doing anything that would to this on the first night, even tried to load a previous save date from my 1h~ish time playing this character, no matter what I did, he died the first night.

Sounds a bit overtuned to me
