I wouldn't want it taking out altogether, but I agree that dust does build up way too quickly, but it seems like your situation is above and beyond; my Zoi's only have to vac once a day, if that. I don't think there is a slider in city settings that makes any difference to this. I did try adjusting "City Sanitation" but came to the conclusion that it must just be for the city, as it did not change the speed dirt accumulated inside the house.
I will continue playing the Sims and revisit this game once it gets some more stuff to do.
- If as a young adult zoi, you move away from your parents and start fresh in a new house, your zoi forgets absolutely everyone they know. Your social list becomes empty. Your friends are unknown, and worse, your family members just become unrelated strangers. My YA zoi met his mother and their first random interaction was... seducing each other. WTF? How is this even allowed to happen? (so of course, any kind of incestuous relationship is possible in this game. Again: WTF?)
- When you have several custom families in your game, some of them being married couples, you expect the game to let them have kids on their own at some point, which indeed happens. The thing is... the game sometimes picks random last names that have nothing to do with the parents'...?? So Mr. and Mrs Peterson can totally have a child that's named Nina Zhao for absolutely no reason.
I've seen a few people mention roofs, that's my main issue, but also flooring is really wierd sometmes.
It feels like you have to use the pre-designed shapes to make walls if you want floors & ceilings. It never works if I draw the walls with the free shape tool & then try to add floors & ceilings after.
I like that this game is trying to avoid being the sims, but specifically with the building, just copy exactly what they did please. There's a reason it's worked for 4 games and is not an area where people will complain for lack of innovation. Let us draw floor & ceiling tiles onto a grid.
If you want to be different, make the way you & your zoi interact with the world be different, that's enough to have it stand out.
Oh and just a general confusion with what the point of the game is aswell, the wasd controls and driving had me believing this would be a blend of GTA style city exploration with sims style building, relationships & careers. A much more character focused experience.
The karma system goes completely against this & seems to be prompting me to take control of every family in the town to make sure they're behaving. (if this is the direction the game takes, I won't be playing it, not what I'm looking for unfortunately!)
I found that since they added the no aging button and no natural deaths at a young age, my zoi who died in a fire reappears instead of having their phone shut off.
There is no option to entice your affair partner to leave their spouse. You cannot have children outside of marriage.
Made a friend who work on a food stall because he's trapped at work he didn't walk off.. lol
- the placement of “more complicated” roofs
- Windows that cannot be placed or are deleted when walls or stairs are moved nearby
- Floors, especially if you don't want the whole room to have the same floor
And especially stairs, almost everything about stairs, they are much too big, they should be narrower and preferably shorter. Especially the area at the bottom, at the top it feels like it goes straight into a wall but god forbid a door should be placed at the bottom of the stairs.
