What is the thing annoying you the most in the game?
While you're talking to someone, and that dude next to you needs to pee.

The food! When zoi tries to clean, it will also clean the food that has not been eaten!

Rn, it's a million percent the dust situation. There are a number of things that are clunky bc it's EA, but I've found comfortable ways to work around most of those well enough to have a good time with the game. But here's what's been happening every single day in my game:

1) I hire a $500 housecleaner first thing in the morning (around 8am).
2) While the housecleaner vacuums everywhere, both the adult sims who live in my house also vacuum every room, using the premium vacuum cleaner that cleans a large area.
3) I leave to go do a few things around town, and come back at 4-ish pm, only to find that multiple rooms of the house are covered in dust again.
4) I hire my second $500 housecleaner of the day and, while he vacuums, both of my adult sims vacuum every room in the house with him, using the premium vacuum cleaner, just to make sure no spot gets missed.
5) By 7pm, I'm seeing dust piling up in multiple rooms again, making the furniture look all grungy.
6) Both of my adult sims vacuum every room again, refurbish all furniture that needs it, and wash their clothes for good measure.
7) By 10pm, several of the rooms are getting dusty again and at least one has a dirt pile on the floor.
8) Both of my adult sims spot-vacuum every room that looks grungy, then immediately go to sleep.
9) I wake up at 6am to find the furniture and rugs are dusty again.
10) Rinse and repeat.

I've tried changing the relevant slider(s) under Manage City. I've tried them in the middle, all the way at the bottom, and all the way at the top. When I moved the slider to the top, it seemed to stop the dust from piling up for about a day or so, and then it went back to happening as fast as ever.

My house is set to have everyone take their shoes off, bc I heard wearing shoes inside can make the house get dirty faster. As far as I can tell, it didn't make any difference.

Weirdly, every so often I'll get a day where it's not as bad and dust barely piles up. But most day, it's ridiculous.

Although I ended up turning the dust system off in The Sims 4 because vacuuming a dusty house turned out to be not very fun, I wouldn't mind the vacuum-the-dust situation in InZOI if it was WAY less over the top. Ideally, if you hire a $500/day housecleaner to clean your house, that should take care of ALL the dust for at least the whole day. That way you still get the incentive to make money -- until you can afford daily housecleaning services, you have to clean your own place and it's annoying -- but having to hire a $500/day housecleaner twice a day, clean the entire house alongside him twice AND clean it by yourself 2-3 more times is CRAZY-work.

I'll gladly deal with all the other early-access clunk in the game until they get everything implemented and smoothed out, but the dust stuff has GOT TO GO. It's killing any fun I find in the game.
How many Zoi's do you have living in the house? I only tend to play 1 person households, so maybe number of residents increases the amount of dirt building up?

I wouldn't want it taking out altogether, but I agree that dust does build up way too quickly, but it seems like your situation is above and beyond; my Zoi's only have to vac once a day, if that. I don't think there is a slider in city settings that makes any difference to this. I did try adjusting "City Sanitation" but came to the conclusion that it must just be for the city, as it did not change the speed dirt accumulated inside the house.

Lack of content and meaningful character relations, and lack of world interaction.

I will continue playing the Sims and revisit this game once it gets some more stuff to do.

2 more things on the list, I couldn't even believe it when I experienced these:

- If as a young adult zoi, you move away from your parents and start fresh in a new house, your zoi forgets absolutely everyone they know. Your social list becomes empty. Your friends are unknown, and worse, your family members just become unrelated strangers. My YA zoi met his mother and their first random interaction was... seducing each other. WTF? How is this even allowed to happen? (so of course, any kind of incestuous relationship is possible in this game. Again: WTF?)

- When you have several custom families in your game, some of them being married couples, you expect the game to let them have kids on their own at some point, which indeed happens. The thing is... the game sometimes picks random last names that have nothing to do with the parents'...?? So Mr. and Mrs Peterson can totally have a child that's named Nina Zhao for absolutely no reason.

I must admit, the forgetting all relationships was an unpleasant shock, presuming its something that will be addressed in development, similar to not being able to select siblings in family creation, its just implied if they live with parents etc who you can link.

Yeah I really dislike it.

Build mode is way too janky for me, a few parts of it just make no sense at all.
I've seen a few people mention roofs, that's my main issue, but also flooring is really wierd sometmes.
It feels like you have to use the pre-designed shapes to make walls if you want floors & ceilings. It never works if I draw the walls with the free shape tool & then try to add floors & ceilings after.

I like that this game is trying to avoid being the sims, but specifically with the building, just copy exactly what they did please. There's a reason it's worked for 4 games and is not an area where people will complain for lack of innovation. Let us draw floor & ceiling tiles onto a grid.

If you want to be different, make the way you & your zoi interact with the world be different, that's enough to have it stand out.

Oh and just a general confusion with what the point of the game is aswell, the wasd controls and driving had me believing this would be a blend of GTA style city exploration with sims style building, relationships & careers. A much more character focused experience.
The karma system goes completely against this & seems to be prompting me to take control of every family in the town to make sure they're behaving. (if this is the direction the game takes, I won't be playing it, not what I'm looking for unfortunately!)

For me the pregnancy bug drives me nuts. Its game over if its my main Zoi who is bugged.

I found that since they added the no aging button and no natural deaths at a young age, my zoi who died in a fire reappears instead of having their phone shut off.

There is no option to entice your affair partner to leave their spouse. You cannot have children outside of marriage.

The GD ceilings in this game! struggled for a few days just trying to be able to place ceiling lighting. Not even sure how i fixed it other than taking a small section of wall down and replacing it, magically fixing the ceiling, even tho i have a second floor to my house. Also random objects just disappear all together.

I am working on Collins home. They have 5 babies and she is pregnant again. They are in a 3 bedrooms. I have made another room downstairs and put all the babies in their cribs in their until they become a child. I have put a second floor in and putting the roof on went fine but the porch roof can be seen inside the house . I have a screenshot but it will not let me put it here. It has taken me time but I am learning the building but I could not make that not show so will work on hiding it for now.

I don't like that you can't talk while you eat or do other actions. you should be able to cook meals for the whole family, not just one at a time. I don't like how meaningless money is... and I think if they're going to make Zoi's longer lived, there should be a toggle so we can keep it more risky..... I want tragedies, sickness, doctors, drama...

The sitting, standing, wandering to sit elsewhere mid conversation is driving me mad. 2 hour date and I spent about 30 minutes of that chasing my date around the park while he chatted to everyone else. I gave up on him.
Made a friend who work on a food stall because he's trapped at work he didn't walk off.. lol

seriously the wasd key bindings to move the zoi is probably the move frustrating part, no wait I tell a lie the build mode! The build mode in this is so needlessly complicated. All I wanted to do is change the location of a couple of items and textures on some walls. In the sims that would have taken me 5min tops. In this it took me over 30min and almost gave me a brain aneurysm due to the frustration. I can see the potential there, but Krafton really do need to simplify the building mechanics massively.

ageing and lack of content
freitagsfrosch 15 de abr. às 13:29
For me it is the build mode:
- the placement of “more complicated” roofs
- Windows that cannot be placed or are deleted when walls or stairs are moved nearby
- Floors, especially if you don't want the whole room to have the same floor

And especially stairs, almost everything about stairs, they are much too big, they should be narrower and preferably shorter. Especially the area at the bottom, at the top it feels like it goes straight into a wall but god forbid a door should be placed at the bottom of the stairs.
