I CANNOT SAVE OR DELETE ZOIS (FILES)

When I create a Zoi and go to save the Zoi (file). In the saved game folder the file is always corrupted and cannot be loaded. The file name also has a "~" symbol next to it to indicate corrupted. I also cannot delete the corrupted save files. Any idea what may be causing this?

I have not touched anything in the settings options. This is pretty much straight up playing it as is.

It's essentially made the game unplayable because there is no point playing the game if you can't save your progress.
