Where to go to buy in-home items?

Do you have to custom create them all? Cause I wanted to get a gaming PC and console to game on my TV like you can do in the Sims games. I checked my in game apps but couldn't let me find items, and I looked at the stores in my city (The one based on California) and the one store that seemed like it might sell items (Nooks I think it was called) just sold clothes.

It isn't that complicated.

You just click the little House Icon that says BUILD MODE.

There is a tab in there for house items and just like the Sims it will show you all the areas of a house or a room with items you can click and it will show you a full list.

Want a computer.... go to the Office Tab, click the Computer icon and then choose the computer.... place it in the world, leave build mode and you are done.

If you want the best computer you will need to level your Media Production skill on your current computer to Rank 3... Then you can buy the best computer in the game for 5k or something.

If you need money fastest way to get it right now is painting from what I can tell. Just grind your painting skill to rank 10, then start a large abstract painting. Soon as it starts mouse over it and you can tell the QUALITY of the painting before it is finished. If it isn't PERFECT Trash it and cancel the painting. This will throw it out and repeat tell you get PERFECT. Then you sell it with the Smartphone app for 6k .... repeat this anytime you need money and you can be the richest introvert ever.

Oh my bad. I haven't played The Sims properly in years, and I forgot that proper mainline Sims games had everything in the build mode, because I'm using to having to actually go to stores to buy things when I play Sims 2 on Nintendo DS and Bustin Out and Urbz both on GBA. Thanks buddy!
