items disappeared

i saved my game and exited after customising my house and when i logged back in half of the items in my house that i had spent time customising had turned invisible, i could click on them but not see them. someone in the discord recommended to restart the game, to which i did and when i got back in all of those items had completely disappeared. not in my inventory either.

Same thing happened to me as of today. The items are there because if I try to place anything else in the same spot, it highlights the area in red where the furniture should be
