It is ALL temporary. Severely temporary, at that. It doesn't specifically say the duration on some, but none of them last longer than 24 hours. Like, the Grow-Grow Skill Donut (1000 coins) only lasts for a day.
I can actually see this aspect of the game being part of a real-money micro-transaction shop planned for the future. It has that mobile-game-pricing-vibe because the free coins they give are few, and the donut costs are high relative to that.
Luckily for us, the game is single player and that data should be client side, meaning it should be editable (like Quicksilver in No Man's Sky is with a save editor).
I want infinite meow coins so I can ignore hunger because it is pretty awful right now. That, or someone to make a 'never hungry' mod.
this isnt true, the donuts that dont say a time are 24 hours, i saved my coins up for them and it told me it was only for 24 hours when i ate it
They are something like the reward store in Sims 4 and are permanent traits or one-use items.
Edit: the donuts are like the magic potions in Sim4. I think the really permanent things are not in the game yet
Try Pizza. Each one comes with 4 slices (4 meals) and they're very filling. Plus you can eat 3 slices then go into buy mode and sell the 4th slice for the full price that it cost to cook the meal. ($36 or so) so it's free. If you want to take it a step further, sell the 3 dirty plates for $12 each.
Is there some kind of weight system? I'm at least RP'ing like there is, eating like one breakfast a day, a salad for lunch, and a hearty meal for dinner.
The weight system just like the heat or cold is coming further down the roadmap to the game
that, or wait for modifications to come in through the mod tools.
