It is already in the game.

You can make two i same house. Or create 2 separate ones in other homes and make sure they are self thinking and they can visit.

When sex is picked you can click the edit button to the right and select preferences.

You can also TURN OFF desire relationships. This option is best for making families and couples so they won't cheat. Then set them as partner or spouse. in main family tree.

If you don’t make non-straight characters, the game is still going to have absolutely zero gay characters in it.
