Romances dont feel worth it

I've been playing for about three days and i've noticed that not matter how much in love my zois are (from mutual love to Married true lovers), if i'm not controlling them they are mean to each other and keep trying to "break it off" WHY? I set the city (world) karma all on normal or nicer. Is anyone else having this problem? Is it a AI thing? It's frustrating and makes me not wanna even try to make relationships especially if my zois are just going to be mean. I dont even pick traits that point to mean interactions.

lol i have this problem too, when i control their social actions its all good, but when on autonomy mode they keep trying to demote the friendship from lovers back to friends, its pretty bad

Yep, even if you type various things into Smart Zoi prompt it doesn't matter. They go on the hate train.

I think this must be a bug as well, cuz my zoi out of blue will be mean to true love for no other reason. Strangers after a greet can get bad too if not managing.

when you create your Zoi, there are different personality types. Each type gets along with only certain types. You may be trying to force incompatible persons together

Having the same problem like every two days their relationship goes back to being distant because they’re always arguing. Fingers crossed it gets fixed soon.

I have a hunch that it's a compatibility issue. Through manual interaction you can seemingly easily make Zois fall in love and create a marriage, but left to their opposing AI traits, they will have a natural inclination to attack each other.

I was having the same issues and this dawned on me. I was going to experiment by "getting to know them" and finding compatible traits regardless of looks to see if that made a difference.

Again, I have no evidence to support this yet. It's just a hypothesis.
