Maybe anyone can answer this question about creating stuff
I tried to upload some painting with the 3d printer, but it simply doesn't get flat enough and also doesn't snap to the wall, but I saw that other paintings people created do, so do I maybe not have to create it with the 3d printer, but just upload it somehow to canvas? Canvas is a site that exists also independant from this game, right? Or is it only in this game?

I mean I saw that you upload from the 3d printer to canvas, but I asume canvas is like pinterest just a upload platform for stuff. And if so how do I do this please and how do I get it then into the game if I don't upload in the game, or is automatically ingame as soon as it is on canvas? Or do I need to use a template from a painting that exists ingame?

3d printer makes statue-like objects by inflating them & guessing the back texture. Works best on symmetrical or solid colors. Paintings are in the texture editor, maybe clothing or somesuch; I haven't touched on that yet. Canvas is only if you're sharing, otherwise you save it as a preset (at least for the printer stuff)

Oh I did not see any texture editor in the game yet, at least not for items other than clothes, where do I find it please? And thank you so much for being this kind to answer me :)

Canvas is semi independent online too.

Thanks a lot Angel :) Such info really helps me find my way to create some stuff!
Can not find any texture editor for a painting for the wall in this game, anyone knows one besides the one for clothes?
I'd love to upload some paintings, but where and how does this work please? The 3d printer seems not to be the way to do it, can't make them flat enough in there, ...please give me a helping hand ....thanks! I get it that I could put some texture on an already existing painting in the building section, I can scale it, but then the texture still doesn't fit into that painting background/frame. Can I stretch it in any direction somehow?

no, you have to choose the correct aspect frame for your image.
Ok but there is no list of frame sizes anywhere, right? Or does the game show those sizes?? Just asking because I am sometimes really blind and oversee stuff.

in build mode, search for "frame". they don't list the ratio but you can kinda see. slap one on the wall and edit it like you did before, save it after, (far right option when clicked on object.) then you can upload it.

Thanks Zuluknob I am already on it :)))
I just test different sizes by resizing the picture now several times in my paint program and uploading it then to see how it fits best. Once I know the size it won't be a problem anymore ;)
I hope textures for buildings are easier to upload.

Did you ever figure out the correct size? I have issues with the 3D printer not being flat enough either or small enough when I upload certain images.
Nope, some textures just never really fit into frames or on carpets and to be honest I fiddle around with that each time, till now I have no exact messurement to do this, I rather do it by guessing the size, because even if you enlarge textures into any direction they seam not to fit any better. If the developers could give directions for the items that are not 3d printed it would be helpful.
