Lesbian relationship?

I started a female character and checked both of the interest boxes - male and female. All of males are very positive when I use a romantic approach - cute welcome, romantic welcome, etc. But all of females deny me. Is it a bug?

All NPC females are straight.
You have to make a gay female character and even then it's buggy.

It's a bug, yes. The devs are aware and are planning to fix it. To be more specific, they're aware that all NPC females are straight, which is not intentional. I believe once it's fixed you should be able to find NPC females interested in romance with other females.

Yes, right now only hetero NPC are in towns, dev already said its not intended and will fix it.

They haven't refined it.

You could create a single female zoi with same likes and move her to a house. make her autonomous and visit. until the new programming patch is refined. Eventually it will randomize citizens to fit your other zois choices.

Yes, this is a “bug”. No matter if you create a single zoi, or 2 female zois in a relationship who are both interested in women, IT DOES NOT WORK. You always get rejected. but it also says in the top post about “known bugs” you should probably read :D

You have to make a gay female character and even then it's buggy.

Play ad the character and alter their flags maybe to prefer females. Im not sure if you can edit random ZOIs but im gonna try in a mo. Its probably a bug and needs to be randomised on non male and female households.

Yes you can take control of them and edit their appearance and outfits.
But i did it with a ZOI in my friends list.

I noticed that too, so I started a lesbian couple, they are madly in love. Now they are waiting for adoption to be implemented, if that ever will.
To make sure that eventually there is a chance that kids will get born. I actually made them BI, so one day they may want to look for a donor.

I've noticed the exclusively straight females thing too - but they have still all been receptive to flirting from my female ZOI and could easily reach "sweetheart" level with very little effort (which arguably feels like a bug in itself).
