How do I get promoted at work?

How many weeks should it take? I need to make more money in this game feels like I’m only just breaking even on food expenses

The current problem with the game is that, you age way to fast before you can become rich, this is from my own experience. I had to use the money cheat provided by the game to explore more about the places and building rich houses. I do hope they add the option to set age off and on

You've gotta be kidding me - you can't disable aging? You'd think that it would be disabled by default because it sucks. I've never used ageing in The Sims because I only want to play with my characters that I created

Surely they’ll add the option to stop aging eventually. Just wondering if it’s even possible to get fully promoted in a zois life span?

Yeah, idk why they didnt think about this at the start. I guess they really want us to play from adult to our childrens and life cycle thing

As in The Sims, it should be possible to switch off ageing completely and to set the length of each life stage.

You can! go to Game option > Simulation > Aging off

You can as of 4th April; hopefully at some point they will add the ability to change lifespan and/or adjust life stage length too.

I guess they decided as it is a life simulator then your zois age just like in life . I am one of those who have never played Sims with ageing turned off , To me it defeats the whole idea of the game , but before everyone hate replies , that is just my personal opinion and everyone plays exactly how they want to . inzoi have now added the option to turn off ageing so everyone has the option

You get a promotion when your Job experience bar hits 100%. You will get the promotion the next morning before heading to work.

I got promoted at the surf shop after a few days my zoi is now a manager.
