Men have always played life sims, farm sims, etc. It's only ignorant people who think it makes them "gay" or anything else for playing it. It's a video game, just like any other video game. This is just as dumb as the people who think a man drinking from a straw is gay. Like, we only live once and this is the stuff y'all focus on?
By my own understanding. Playing a single game without playing other genre is the checkbox.
Example: Playing FIFA-NBA-NFL only. That's not a gamer, with all those slot-pachinko machine to get better rooster, its a gambling addict.
I am a straight, married, 55 year old white man who loves dressing my sims up in various outfits, esp at Christmas time or other holidays. I would not say "cute" but I still dress them up a lot, like it's a great bit of fun to customize their look
pool parties, things of that nature, absolutely love it, chatting up the ladies, enjoying people's company, someone in the pool, some woohoo, who knows? I don't think pool parties are a "woman thing"
I'm a content creator, I can provide my YT page if you like. It's filled with hours of customizing characters, dressing up people, etc.
This is 2025, I'm not really woke I don't believe, but I know that the idea that women have their things, while often true, doesn't mean males aren't up for it as well. And yea, straight white old guys even!
Now I'm off to select my call of duty operator, emote and customized guns in the very, very manly Call of Duty ;)
Don't like it? Then don't. Simple as.
It sure is geared towards interests that are typically female but who cares. And most of it is just banter and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ anyways. Don't take things too seriously on the internet, especially twitch chat.
But i also play games as a female character in any game where it's applicable and make her badass, because i like; you guessed it, women.
Some people would say it's gay to play as a female. Well i'd rather spend my time looking at and playing as a badass woman that can slap stuff around than listening to a "manly" twink grunting and moaning.
People who say it's "gay", they're in denial and need to get out of the closet or just need to learn how to to enjoy different perspectives in life.
You do you! Whatever your sexual orientation, do what you want.
It's a video game. It's not real. All sorts of people play all sorts of games, in all sorts of ways. Playing or not playing a certain type of game doesn't define you as a person.
I'd say all of us have at least one interest or hobby that most of the people around us can't relate to. I see a dude hanging out at the train station everyday, when I go to work. He spends his mornings taking photos of trains arriving and leaving. I don't know that guy. I'm personally not into trains. But it would be weird for me, to assume that guy's personality, attitude or sexual orientation - purely based on the fact that he's into trains. And who knows, maybe he'd find it weird, that I play games like the Sims or InZoi...
