F12 for screenshots does nothing

In every game I play the F12 key is working fine for screenshots except this game?

In other games I press F12 key and a screenshot is taken.
When playing Inzoi I press the F12 key and nothing. Any help appreciated.

Steam overlay is on and it shows in the settings as F12 for screenshots but does nothing in Inzoi when pressed?

Aw, man, I was hoping someone had given you an answer bc I'm having the same issue. I get that there's a photo mode, but that doesn't really help when I want to just take a quick screenshot to post to Steam.

What's weird is that F12 worked the first couple times I played, then it stopped. Maybe an update killed it? Idk, but I also have the Steam overlay on and have even tried resetting the hot keys in case there was a conflict. Nothing's worked so far.

If this happen, please try this: Option -> Graphics -> Change Display to Windowed and change the resolution to something different as it is(In my case the default is 2560x1440 so I change it to 1920x1200) apply -> again option -> Graphic -> Change display to Windowed Fullscreen.

Why does this happen? There are some games which don’t load the Steam Overlay right. So you need to change your resolution and go back to fix that. What helps also is just to browse and let it start up as background task. (As example double click on inZOI, then just surf steam discuss and tab manually back to InZOI as soon the trailer runs)

This will happen if you are playing on a laptop on which the keyboard shares F12 with another function. If that's the case plug in a standard keyboard or rewrite the key in your keyboard settings in Windows

It also happens for me with my cherry keyboard and I AM SO NOT GONNA BUY a lower one a a more expensive as it is.

I am happy with my keyboard as it is, I mean the problem is seemingly the game itself, so they shall fix it.

did not work for me.

in case you dont find a fix theres always shift + windows key + S and upload that to steam. takes more effort but it also preserves the quality unlike steam screenshots which get compressed and dont look as good.

No laptop just a full size keyboard on a PC.

Was working fine before 0.1.5 or 0.1.4 for me but does nothing now, as for manually uploading to Steam, seems like they removed the simple option and now requires a million hoops to jump through in order to trick it into working.

You can set the screenshot button in the Steam settings.
If it's a key that's assigned in the game to, there might be problems. because it then tries to perform 2 functions with one key.

change the key to a key that is not assigned in the game. if you have problems with it.
