Report a translation problem
imagine if this had happened after 40 hours, character isn't old and i'm not taking any risks, they shouldn't be randomly dieing when they reach a randomly chosen date and time, for reasons out of my control.
Guessing a bug that's killing instead of advancing ages. Hoping it's a bug and not as-intended.
Remember, it's in Early Access, and there's a very, very high probability that it's a code error. If this were intentional, not only would you be discouraged from continuing to play, but I don't think anyone wants to waste their time like this and get a dose of frustration as a gift.
That's why I don't play EA games to much, to avoid awkward and very uncomfortable situations.
Maybe you should report it on their Discord or check the bug report section so they're aware and can fix it.
I don't see continuing if every 7-9 days your character dies while sleeping.
edit : yeah the description says it makes it higher age, and less health problems, health level
