No Romance Options for Teens?

I made a household with 2 teens and selected roommates. I wanted them to be a couplem but there seems to not be any kind of romance options, I´ve only been able to declare them BFF.

Is romance only available for adults?

EDIT: I am SHOCKED how many disgusting replies are found under this post. My girlfriend and I are both Teens, in a relationship and wanted to recreate us and our relationship in Inzoi.. Teens are also 18-19 Year old people. You guys are making this weird. I have not talkeda bout anything ♥♥♥♥♥♥, this is all on you. All I am asking for is a system close to Sims 4, high school crushes, dating, prom date etc.

Serious answer: Everything below adult age will not get a romance in most games, because they count as underage.

Teens can be Eight-TEEN and Nine-Teen and the Characters in this game do not look underage. I think there should be a relationship option for the Teens, without ♥♥♥♥♥♥ stuff.

It seems like the developers decided that teenager is still underage. If you feel like that 18-19 years old shouldn't count as "young adults" but "teenager", you should address it to the devs.

That´s why I made a pretty normal question, because I was not sure if it´s a bug or not. You guys all act like 16-17 year old relationships are weird. Teenagers go on dates, etc.

There is an option that is over child literally called Teenager. What are you even talking about?

Based on the consent between countries and states it can vary on that point with teenagers.
The USA it's between 16 to 18 (SixTEEN to EightTEEN), in South Korea it's 16 (SixTEEN). If you look further afield In Colombia and Brazil it's 14, in Sahrawi Republic it's 13.

It's a simple fact teenagers do get involved in ♥♥♥♥♥♥ activity like it or not, parents can try to hide the subject and stop them, but kids will experiment as they develop a mind of their own and exert their own free will.

I'm just pointing that out rather than suggesting ♥♥♥ be a thing for teens, though making out on the bed is probably a better option where intimacy between teenagers are concerned and that's as far as it goes, cuddling, kissing, feeling but that's as far as it goes on a bed until they age up.

Teenagers feel those desires and needs every bit as much as adults, they need to release, only it's done in a safe way and will allow teenagers to romance other teenagers.

There is no teen romance in sims. without modification.

There is going places and meet ups.

Technically there's no ♥♥♥ between adults in the Sims (and Teens do have the option to "Mess Around" in place of "Woohoo"...j/s)

Also based on the fact that both InZOI and Sims 4 are rated "T For Teen" i think it's fair to say most real life teens are playing their InZOI fantasy as Young adults...

I personally even think making out on a bed etc. would be a bit too much for the teenagers in the game (even though it´s being shown in Movies and Tv Shows) I´m just wishing for something like building a relationship, going on dates etc. Without any kind of ♥♥♥♥♥♥ activity.

There for you pick Young Adult, and yes they can date and have romance.
