Custom Textures Question

Hello.

I'm trying to add my own textures and am running into an issue where, upon clicking on the texture and opening it, it isn't saving the texture. It makes a sound like it is, but when I scroll through saved textures, it isn't there. The files are all .jpg

I noticed while adding custom textures on clothing, sometimes it will import the texture, but when in build mode, trying to import a texture for flooring, it is doing the above.

I'm not sure if I unintentionally turned something off, forgot how to do it, or if it is a technical issue.

I appreciate all of the comments so much! I haven't had a chance to sit down and test suggestions/successes of others but will tonight!

Do you guys know if there's a certain size to help with the looping/patterns - trying to put my art on and make t-shirts.

Someone mentioned that PNG 5000 x 5000 appears to be working best!

Would anyone happen to know if there is a limit to how many textures we can upload? Thank you so much~
