inZOI
Any who played sims games - how does it compare?
Because it looks basically like a sims game but I'm guessing there isn't as much content - which isn't bad if the content that is there is good. Thoughts?

sims at the moment is the better experience. This game looks good, but its also too early & not enough content for the price point (in my opinion). Also a lot of base features that need to be added or expanded on - little things like cant have kids or move in with a partner until you're married - things if that nature. This game has a lot of potential, but its very far from being there I think. I'm assuming you're asking as someone who hasn't bought & played inzoi yet. If thats the case, I would honestly just recommend waiting on it for now and play sims in the meantime.
id say look at them as both completely different games, i enjoy both but inzoi is better for a more realistic slow life sim, sims is better for more imaginative fun and chaos.

I completely agree, hold off for now. There aren't nearly enough things to do for it to be playable long term. Even furniture and clothing options are minimal.

Well I can say something as a person who have over like 4k hours in The Sims 4 that for me inZOI is a lot more promising than basic Sims 4 were and still are. Also this full game comes in a price range of a one stupid (sometimes they even cost way more) TS4 DLC in which they add few (often broken or bugged) functions. So yeah I guess if I had to pick a game I would easily pick inZOI and gave these devs a chance.

Also there already are mods which mean community will have easy access to fixing what they don't like and adding new things.

Basically the same the thing, Inzoi i just more realistic has modern stuff like AI & other features.
The only thing Sims is better is the sheer amount of stuff to do, events, clothes & furniture. But hey they have like 300 DLC's already. over 2 decades. Inzoi Is just getting started as EA. Also The sims have a estabilished modding base.

Can't made a balding man in Inzoi yet.

The balding men in Sims reign supreme!
The potential to be as good as Sims is there. But as of now, Sims still more fun to play. Maybe you should think of InZOI as a better Singles: Flirt Up Your Life instead of The Sims right now.

The core of the game has more potential. Right now the game is lacking some things, hilariously some of the things Inzoi is lacking are similar features to stuff Sims 4 was missing at launch like No basements and no swimming pools but these are guaranteed features being worked on. Sims 4 has one of the best house build modes of any life sim while Inzoi's is a bit complicated and barely functions to be honest. Build mode has potential but it's actually the roughest part of the early access in my opinion, Build mode is frustrating enough that I actively avoid it and I'm a builder in these games so that's usually the feature i spend most of my time in. Inzoi holds up extremely well as a game though.
