My young adult sim died after playing 4 hours....
I created my young adult sim and named him Arthur Fleck. He was so healthy he didn't need anything. But while he was coding, he suddenly got up, laid down and died, peacefully.

"I used to think that my life was a tragedy, but now I realize, it’s a comedy."

I opened old saves and replayed but no matter what I did I couldn't save him. He dies at the exact same time every run. But isn't it weird that young sims die randomly naturally?

Sounds like overdose

They should remove this feature because it makes no sense... Why would I gamble on whether they will die or not after hours every time I create a zoi?

my zoi is courting with danger, an exploding TV and it's replacement needing of fixes twice. she came out of it ok, could have been worse.

You know if good karma is a thing, such things inherently wouldn't happen to these zoi's, as if the reliability of their lots items are bulletproof, compared to those with a bad karma rating where things don't stop going wrong no matter what.

My zoi had an allergy. I took medicine for it - died. Didn't take medicine for it - died. Went to sleep - died. This zoi is cursed, and I *JUST* finished my house T.T

Interesting.

It seems that your save game has a seed that schedules your zoi's death at a certain point. Instead of reloading the old save, start a new game and hopefully the problem will go away. It's like how Madden NFL creates a seed at the start of each single player match that decides whether you'll win or lose regardless whether you're playing well (newer Madden might have fixed this issue but IDK)

This game needs more development and features. There are a lot of bugs and not much to do in the world.

I had the exact same thing happen to me, played an hour, on the end of the first day, during his first night, he died from natural cause.. my karma was good, he was more than healthy, not entirely sure what's going on with this feature but it needs just overtuned as of now. They need to either fix this or give us control over it because right now it doesn't sound right

Sudden Death for even the healthiest of people is a thing, but it's also a deeply rare tragedy, and clearly way too common in this game.

And imo it has no business being in a life sim in the first place. The Sims has random death as a meteor drop, but it's very rare and avoidable.

There is a thing you could try:
Go back a save and play an other family until your main Zoi should be dead until after a day. Than look if the Zoi still lives. I bet it does.
maybe your zoi got a brain aneurysm
*edit
you know, maybe being able to pay for an autopsy in the game might be cool
