Offline mode NEEDED!!

already refunded the game. i dont care. stop saying "its in the works" like a complete consumer npc.

as if its gonna take three months of daily hard work just to enable offline mode, all it takes removing a single line - or few lines at most - of code in order to allow players to play offline. it takes 1 minute of work.

this game initially had denuvo, but then they removed before launch. devs seem to be freaking out about the idea of their game being pirated, and they found a bit of an alternative solution: mandatory internet connection

i paid $50 for a single player game, i expect it to work without internet like every single player game. i want to play it any time i want, not gonna wait until they figure out the best method to deter piracy

their excuse is "the game needs internet because there's this online part called canvas where ppl share stuff... so yeah no internet no worky"

I fully understand your sentiment, coming from a place where my Internet is more spotty in the winter months. I would also like an offline mode for the game but hey hopefully by the time of full release this and many other basic common features will be there.

I don't like online only, if only because I live in the sticks where internet is extremely spotty. That can kill games too, like SimCity 2013.

So with that, why do games need to be online only if they're single-player? Doesn't that just cut out a portion of the population who don't have the luxury of good wifi?

Not the point but sometimes you can lose your network or play on the go where there’s no network

internet can also crash, have issue

some country also have ♥♥♥♥ internet offer
