How viable is Free Will only?

If I wanted to create a character and just let them do their life is that entirely possible? Or are there cases where you have to take control (outside of life threatening situations)? I'm curious how it is on letting the Zois live I just wanna be sure I'm dealing with lemmings here.

They'll do their own thing and stay alive, go to work (especially with smart zoi on) As long as you don't mind them occasionally being mean to people for no real reason.

You would probably need to intervene if they completely neglect a need.

I had one go for two days in game and keep all their needs decently met. Playing seemed useless as trying to find why the game kept crashing. So didn't wanna play and waste my time doing the same few tasks to get started. Not sure how well it does at going to work though.

Good to know, I don't mind playing as a character but sometimes in simulation games I wanna see what they do.

I played a game with two characters living in the same house, the one I left unattended with autonomy on eventually died of malnutrition.

I guess supervision is still necessary.
