Clothes Remain Dirty

My Zoi's clothes became dirty, so I figured I'd use the washing machine in my apartment. Nothing happened except my Zoi being annoyed due to it being one of their dislikes.

I looked for a dryer. Nothing. I even placed a laundry hamper. Nothing. I opened the guide and it said to use the washing machine to clean your clothes but I've used it three times and my clothes remain dirty.

I hope it is purely visual as it would suck if I was given negative moodlets for wearing dirty clothes and I can't do anything to clean them. I can look past the visual bit, but if it affects gameplay then

I have encountered this also; I thought maybe it was because my Zoi was pregnant, but it persisted even after she had the baby--and changing her clothes did not help--even new outfits or not yet worn outfits were showing up dirty---her wedding gown was filthy. I ended up making a new save because it bothered me so much to have her just walking around looking stanky all the time.

The wedding dress thing, though.. Imagine buying a brand new wedding dress; never worn - just to show up to the alter with it completely filthy like you rummaged around through trash and then rolled around in mud before getting married..
