Is the programming job , Blue moon soft, bugged?

It doesn't seem like the job progress goes up, and when you go to "Perform action" when at work, it's stuck on the same one for weeks.
It also doesn't even look like he's actually going to work, he enters the taxi and then nothing happens, and on the map it appears like he's still on the same spot.

All the rabbit hole stuff has them just sit in the taxi until the event is over.

while they are in the taxi you can click on the right hand side where their little icon is , there is a suitcase there which you can click to do tasks at work which may help you to raise the blue job bar , once it is filled they get promoted , In your phone there is a career icon you can click to see how full that bar is

I pressed one of those tasks, and it seemed 'locked'. No progress made and no way to switch to a different one.

Well the devs did say they didn't really focus on the jobs as of EA release. You can really tell.. XD I hope they fix that soon. Otherwise my Zoi is freelancing.
