inZOI
What are your experiences with SmartZOI/relationships?
I think I don't get relationships in inZOI, seriously. It's less complicated IRL. So, Skye, my third wife. We went after wedding to home and she autonomously is trying to lower the relationship level. No matter what I put into SmartZOI thoughts it's always the same. Is my character weirdo? 😄 I might need to try without the SmartZOI feature because it's getting cumbersome. What's your experiences with SmartZOI/relationships? I mean, I know sometimes it's hard in real life too but... wife arguing with me about "lack of consideration" with "flirty" mood 5 minutes after weeding...

I turned it on and typed in that my zoi was in love with (person I was trying to get them to hook up with) Then my zoi had thoughts about how much she liked them and started doing interactions to further that relationship.

I used it a little but in all honesty I could not see the difference. They could give us some kind of comprehensive explanation of how it's meant to work. Like for example enabling it for the whole city - what does it actually do if there is no input? Also with individual input for our Zois - are we meant to type in say, every day what we want them to do, or how is it meant to work? I am seeing a lot of 'inner thoughts' that basically just quote my input, but no real difference on the interactions.

I typed in loves to write books and loves to make videos and my zoi would do that every chance they got. Haven't messed with relationships yet on it, tho.

I'm curious if my name could be a problem. My Zoi name's "Szymon" and a few times I saw "Syzon" in Zoi's thoughts. And i tried "in love with Szymon". Maybe AI thinks that she's in love with another Zoi because it recognizes me as Syzon. :D

it's possible. I noticed this while using other AIs that they struggle to recognise some non-english names and just try to make it into a word. If your characters name was say 'Simon' I bet ya it would work fine. Probably linked to it's database missing these particular names.

I learned allot from testing this relation thing. Zois are not as complicated as you first would think.

Funny enough, my mom Zoi decided to do her own thing—flirting with another Zoi behind my back—when she was supposed to be happily married to my main Zoi’s dad. I set them up that way from the start! Meanwhile, I just wanted my main Zoi to actually have a childhood before growing up and meeting his first love. But nope, mom had other plans. Lol 🤣

Wait till your Zoi mom will start flirting with your partners.
Smart Zoi is really interesting and funny sometimes.
I really love AI

At this point, I wouldn't even be surprised if my mom Zoi pulled that too. She's already out here ignoring her marriage and doing whatever she wants! Yeah Smart Zoi is definitely interesting and funny, I love how unpredictable the Zois can be. Definitely makes the game way more entertaining. Thinking of funny, I ran into a glitch/bug, with my mom Zoi and my main Zoi, were supposed to sit on a bench and and have a heart-to-heart about his feelings (which he was thinking of sad feelings) but instead, they were just floating mid-air like it was totally normal. I couldn't stop laughing. Had to take a screenshot, too good not to! Lol. 🤦🤣

My Zoi (a male) was hitting on my son's wife, which was quite amusing. Unfortunately, he passed away peacefully in his sleep before he could reach old age. This was definitely the most surprising moment I experienced during my 33 hours of playing this game. I’m not sure if it’s a feature, but he was in his middle age, and one night he got up from bed, lay down on the floor, and died for no apparent reason. (And no, he didn't slip on the floor. :D It happened a few times for me and the animation was different.)

I decided to turn off SmartZOI completely. I might be tripping but I believe they started to do more things and paradoxically they feel now more "intelligent". Relationship-wise I think that my Zoi was just a jerk. :D Because with/without SmartZOI his relationships were always a train wreck. With (three) wives, two sons. Rest in peace, Szymon, you definitely won't be missed. :D

Well, if you were weeding you might want to take shower first.

I've been a gamer for, I believe, 30 years. I started my gaming journey on the C64. And seriously, I haven't had such a good time in a very, very long time. :)

I think I've been a gamer a little longer than you have, I've been immersed in gaming for nearly 40 years, a journey that began with the Apple II, long before Windows or modern PCs even existed. I still remember the thrill of playing on my cousins' Nintendo Entertainment System, even though I never owned one myself. And I've played an Atari but my true love affair with consoles started with the Super Nintendo Entertainment System especially with Super Mario World, I love that game even The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. I still cherish that console, along with my Nintendo 64, GameCube, Wii, and now the Switch.

Throughout the years, I've embraced every Xbox generation—original, 360, One, and now Series X—as well as the PlayStation lineup from PS3 to PS5. My gaming experience also includes a Sega Master System that my great uncle gifted me from a yard sale, only for my mom to give it away without a second thought. I often wonder why she did that; it could have been worth a small fortune today!

Gaming isn't just a hobby for me even TV series and movies; it's a passion that has shaped so many memories and connections over the decades. 😊
