inZOI

There are several areas in inZOI that need urgent improvements to make the gameplay more realistic and enjoyable.
1. Infants and Babies
The interactions with infants are extremely limited. The baby just lies in the crib, and while you can build a connection with it, basic care options are missing. You cannot feed the baby or change its diaper – it is completely left on its own. This does not feel realistic for a life simulation.

Another issue is the baby furniture and accessories. Although there are various baby items available, they have no real function – they are merely decorative. This should be improved so that baby equipment can actually be used.

2. Need Meters
The needs of the characters decrease far too quickly. The hunger meter, in particular, drains at an unnaturally high rate, but all other needs also decrease too fast. A slight adjustment would be helpful to prevent characters from constantly having to manage their basic needs, allowing more time for other activities.

3. Cars
The car system currently feels pointless. Why buy a car if it is barely used? For example, my character always takes public transportation to work, even though they own a car. This makes vehicles completely unnecessary if they just sit idle. It would be important for characters to actually use their cars when they own one.

4. Eating Interactions
There are several issues related to eating. When a character prepares a meal, they simply place it down but do not eat it automatically – sometimes, they even ignore it completely and end up starving. It would be much better if they took a plate and started eating immediately after cooking.

Another problem is that you can currently only cook single portions. It would be much more practical if characters could prepare meals for the entire household so that all family members can grab a plate, instead of having to cook separately for each person.

i've noticed books are extremely powerful on learnign skills, i mean really powerful, my zoi picked up a book on art and one on charm and she made a number of levels in a very short space of time. books might also need a looking into, the skill gain is a bit too impressive.
It is early access. I do not expect all the features to be in........

i've just compared. between hunger meter filling out between plates of food, i'd be lucky to make one level in programming directly from the computer, but with a book in hand my zoi has reached level 10. so yeah, far too powerful.

Yes, I understand that you can't expect much, but it says on Steam that the game needs a lot of feedback to improve. And this is my feedback on that.

Ive found the best way to deal with the cooking then eating problem is to immediately stop their interaction to put the meal down, once theyve finished cooking it and click on it in their hands to select eat.
I would give the feedback to the creators so they know. That’s why it’s and earlier access. There will always be issues until everything gets fixed. But in games there always will be constant problems. It’s not easy process to create games.
I've resorted to making them cook over and over and putting the meal in their bag/inventory so they don't starve to death when out and about. Also, the amount of sleep they need is ridiculous, but I understand it's early access, I will patiently wait.
