inZOI
Requirements are too demanding
My kids and I were looking forward to the release of Inzoi - only to realize that the game requirements are through the roof - even higher than games like StarCitizen.

Due to this fact of your relatively insane requirements, i am sure that not only will you loose the 3 purchases from my family - but a lot of purchases from millions of other potential customers.

It's just really sad that you didnt think this through - code and GFZ optimization would have gotten you a long way. :-(

Insane requirements, this has to be a joke post. The rtx 2060 is a 6 year old card that retails for less than 400 bucks.

Not the devs fault you have an outdated pc.

Innovation requires developing for the future not the holdouts from the past. thank all that is holy we are no longer held back by xbox 360 level consoles. the ps5 is still ♥♥♥♥♥ but at least it allows games to advance on the pc.

My PC is about 4 or 5 years old and it was mid-range even back then and I am able to run everything on Ultra with little to no issues.

I'm glad that the devs didn't make Inzoi runnable on a toaster. It severely limits the game!

Look at how much they took away between Sims 3 & 4, to make it run on non-gaming PCs. I find that frustrating!
We are being trolled by the op. They have a modern computer with a 3060 gpu.

I have played the game on my potatoe by todays standards. 8700k / 3080 / 32GB Ram. It played just fine.
Come Marcello, look at da guy calling 3080 a potato

I have a CYBERPOWER gaming PC and the game ran fine

I'll just mention that I can run inZOI on my (2019) Dell XPS (it's well below recommended specs):

System Model XPS 8930
Processor Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz,
3696 Mhz, 6 Core(s), 12 Logical Processor(s)
Nvidia GTX 1080
16GB Ram

inZOI settings:
Game locked to 30fps
'V-sync' on
100% of game resolution
Raytracing off
Mid quality graphics

There are no issues to worry about. The game functions acceptably, and I've had no crashes so far. I'd obviously like it to look top-notch, but it's looking passable even with the above specs. Still, I'm about ready to buy myself a pre-built Alienware Aurora sporting a GTX 5-series card, i9 CPU, and 64 GB RAM—£3500!

Nvidia has a cloud gaming service, GeForce NOW. This streams the game into your PC. This may work for you. But, welcome to the real world. As time goes on, complexity increases. Requiring more and more powerful machines. Game developers will not stall progress just for the few who do not have the means.

{Crocodile Dundee voice} That's not a potato... THIS is a potato! (Shows R5-1600-AF/1660-Super getting 55FPS on 1080p with FSR enabled and everything (bar DoF/MB) on 'ultra'.

Clearly either a troll, or someone who has no idea how to set up and maintain a PC properly.

I'm playing this on a Z13 with integrated 8060S GPU on very high. I can turn on RT if I use frame gen. It's not THAT bad.

I'm running with a Ryzen 7 2700 CPU (7 year old CPU), 32 GB RAM, and a RX 6750 XT 12 GB GPU. Runs find on 1080p at medium because my CPU is holding everything back. Currently waiting for a Microcenter to open up in my area and then it's a new CPU and motherboard.
Why wouldn't you just buy on Newegg or order online through Mercari or whatever other local selling platform? Why would you wait for a microcenter to be built?

I didn't know 64gb of ram was a non updated PC. I played this on my living room PC which is a 3060.. no crashes or issues. Played on my bedroom PC which is a 4080 and it was even smoother

Unfortunately my Ryzen 5 5600X and AMD Ryzen 5 5600T were stuttering with inzoi on the lowest settings. Technically it "ran" but wasn't playable at all.

So I went and dropped 2k on a new computer. - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, ASUS B650-E TUF Gaming, G.Skill Flare X5 Series 32GB DDR5-6000 Kit, - AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT Triple Fan 20GB GDDR6 PCIe 4.0 Graphics Card and Samsung - 990 EVO Plus 1TB Samsung V NAND TLC NAND PCIe Gen 4 x4 and PCIe Gen 5 x2 NVMe M.2 Internal SSD.

Runs smooth as butter now. So does ark ascended and kingdom come deliverence 2.

Requirements are not unreasonably high. The Sims 4 is more than a decade old by now and was intended to run on basic hardware even when new. This game goes for a more realistic look, which inherently necessitates higher hardware requirements.

Here's a cheap build recommendation that should be able to run this game without any issues. Not maxed out, of course, but it won't be ugly either:

Ryzen 5 5600: About 100 €/$ - a really solid entry level CPU
Basic AM4 motherboard: 50 bucks - doesn't really matter which one, although I'd recommend one with four RAM slots for easier future upgrades
16 GB RAM: 30 bucks - 2x 8GB so that you can add 16 GB more in the future, when needed
RTX 2080: 200 bucks used - an absolute steal for the money, a powerful GPU that supports the latest features and runs all current games
Basic brand name M.2 SSD: 50 bucks
Brand name power supply (at least 700W): 70 bucks - don't skimp on this part
Cheap case: 30 bucks - feel free to skimp on this part and if you have a used case that is large enough, just use that.

Total: 530 or thereabouts with just one used part. Prices should be in this range in much of Europe and the US.

This PC is more powerful than an Xbox Series X or base PS5, but it costs about the same. I know that this might still be steep depending on where you are living and what your family income is like, but it should be affordable unless you are really struggling, for which I don't blame you if that's the case, of course.

I hope this helps.
