Why only hetero????

Why does the game only have hetero relationships? Yes, the game gives you the opportunity to create an asexual character or create a non-binary character or create a gay/bi, etc. This is very nice, thank you for adding this feature to the character creator. But this feature exists ONLY in the creator, in the game itself, all NPCs and non-player families are hetero characters. That is, if I create a gay character, there is not a single male NPC who would also like men. The situation with non-binary characters is EVEN worse, non-binary characters do NOT attract ANYONE romantically. Why? And most importantly, why did you do this? For a game in which a significant part is based on characters and their relationships, this is a very sad situation.

Maybe someone knows codes or loopholes on how to fix this? My first thought was to just walk around the city and edit families in the creator, but the game does not allow editing existing families. My second idea was to populate the city with more diverse characters myself, but it's quite long and I'm afraid that I'll overload the save with characters, which will make the game sag even more. Plus, none of this will fix the problem that random NPCs in the city are still only hetero characters, and I meet random NPCs in the city more often than real families.

I'm also now wondering how the gender/orientation of a character not created in the creator, but born during the game, is determined. Will they all also be hetero by default? Is there no chance to recognize yourself as a non-b person or as a gay?

Make your own character who is gay or bi and move them into another house in the city, then have your Zoi meet them!

I seriously don't understand those people who don't like the addition of diversity and inclusion. There's nothing wrong with inclusion as long as it's well implemented and written, which in this case wouldn't be because this is supposed to be a life simulator and you can create any character you want, however you want.

In the end, those people became what they dislike so much: a bunch of extremists, unbearable and annoying people who cry when they're ignored.

The good thing is that it's already been said that this relationship problem is already on the list to be solved, and all those who don't like it are going to cry like never before.

Why thank you, I do play the Sims. I own Sims 1, 2, 3, and some of the packs for 4 and I quite enjoy playing them....alongside my new creation in progress, my big ol' Queer custom Inzoi Save file. Thank you so much for the suggestion.

Honestly at this point, going back and reading previous comments I see there's been an answer multiple times. It's coming. Not sure why I let myself get pulled into a sociopolitical argument.

Gay options incoming. I'm buying the game regardless. I am not gay. I will live. So will you. And if gay options never came, you'd still live. There's bigger problems in my life than whether or not a Korean game will let me kiss guys.

To actually answer your question, all the default ZOIs are heterosexual by default. If you want, you can change to the ZOI you want to your character to have a same-sex relationship with and change them to attracted to the same gender, or do what I did and create two gay zois, and have them meet and fall in love.
