"One thing you won't spot in the current roadmap is any plan for Inzoi multiplayer features. Based on comments from Kjun, it's still something that the studio is interested in but is probably at the concept phase and not actively being developed."
It is a massive time and cost sink for the developer where I would rather that development time spent on other areas improving features or improving mod support and getting behind that community.
It does directly impact the single player experience because changes need to be made to accommodate it likely affecting optimisation and potentially not being able to add any feature that might potentially conflict with multiplayer like having mods.
Modding and multiplayer typically don't play well together.
1. Each player creates one character in a household
2. The only way they are allowed to interact with the game is to change the SmartZoi prompt, or by spending Meow coins. (Maybe allow this to only be changed every two hours or something?)
You can probably do better for rules after playing the game enough. Honestly I'm just getting started myself.
It doesn't work like that though. Developers have limited resources and adding multiplayer takes away from the singleplayer. Especially since multiplayer would require constant updates and maintenance and complaints.
