Go on twitch and watch people play if you're on the fence. If you're not bored out of your mind, get it. If it looks decent, but you're not sold on it, then wait a few months for them to build on the game and then check it out again.
a bevy of other problems thats evident but thats just a Me problem
Click on your phone. There's a careers/jobs icon. Click that. There are part-time jobs and full time jobs. There are active jobs that you have to travel to and perform actions yourself. And there are rabbit-hole jobs where your character walks up to the taxi outside your house and disappears for however long your work day is.
Rabbit-hole jobs have a small briefcase icon in the upper right of the job icon.
While your character is at work, there can be random events that either help you along in your career or reduce your career performance in some way. These windows pop up for about 30 seconds, giving you a chance to make a choice, then they disappear. So if you walk away from the computer while your Zoi is at work, you might miss something if you don't pause the game.
