Sizing Issues with Importing Images To Picture Frames
Right now there is an issue in importing images into a photo frame - where I can't properly adjust the image. First of all importing distorts the original size ratio of the image. Instead of centering the image in the frame it's in pattern mode. Very frustrating and I don't get it to properly fit my imported image into the picture frame.

I take it no one has this problem?

not tried it, doesn't it have the same widget as when you import textures for clothes?
I have also had the same issue trying to size the photos into the picture frame, I usually have to adjust the pattern size and Horizontal/Vertical positioning but even then it still looks off centered and bleeds in from the sides from the copies. I would love it would auto adjust the fit or allowed us to know the size format that it needs to fit properly. Also not sure if its just the lighting in the house, but the photos always seem to come out super dark. I am still messing with it though.

I really hope the Devs fix this because it really plays a big part in customizing my home. The tools are clumsy and you can't fix the size ratio to fit the frame.

The widget is really limited in how you can size the imported image.
only if they document or give some tool tips about the sizing, I have tried 3-4 hours on it, can't get the exact size I guess they have some buffer, as long as you stretch your 16x9 image into 1x1 they looks fine (landscape)

I just tried this.. seems that imported textures loses the location sliders which the originals have. Seems a bit odd.

That must be really hard for you to not make your pretend fantasy world not to your exact liking, have you thought about taking time away from the game and experiencing real life?

Maybe if this is causing you such a problem then the game is unhealthy for you:(

I have the same problem. With imported textures I cant even change the horizontal/vertical positioning.. at least on walls.. Haven't tried in frames. I tried importing a picture to use as a wall mural in a kids room but it was way off center no amount of resizing could get it to fit on the wall properly

What I learned with importing images in frames is that format has to be a square to prevent distortion on the image. No matter if the image is rectangular vertical or horizontal it has to fit inside a square image. That can be done with Photoshop or Krita - which is what I use - to put the original image on top of the square background because the repeat pattern is a series of squares. As for texture - use a seamless pattern that is perfectly square in order to have a repeat pattern
