There's a difference between engaging difficulty and tediousness. Karma falls in the latter... it's not difficult even, just tedious. Pulls you out of the flow of the game while adding barely anything in content.
I think they should develop an option to have AI manage that, wouldn't be difficult to code at all since it's just scolding bad Zois and rewarding good ones. Even a single person mod could achieve that pretty easily... but honestly that should be an option available to players as the base game.
For me, I wouldn't have much of an issue with it if I could skip the intervention animation. It's just a time waster having to watch that 4-12 times a day in InZOI.
Keep the feedback coming on this forum so the Dev's know what needs attention. As Steam is the only platform, currently, the Dev's will be monitoring this forum and taking notes - just make the Headings clear so they can easily find them.
As far as I am aware WE, the player, are employed by AR and our job is to watch over all the Zois in the cities under our control, nipping in to take direct control of Zois across the city to intervene - similar to a 'God Game'. Hence why we have full control of the City, the appearance, the ability to swap to any Zoi we see in the street, etc. (not sure if the latter is in game yet, but it was talked about and showcased on a Dev vid awhile back)
