Create character with live link?

I was disappointed to find out that live link was only used for character expressions. Is there a way to use it to create a character that looks like ourselves? Any other tools that could help with creating characters?

in the feedback I suggested being able to upload a picture and based on the picture your zoi would be created

You can take two selfies (one from the front and one from the side) and use a program that can overlay transparent windows over the game, like PureRef (which is entirely free). Set the overlay to partially transparent in PureRef, scale both the photo and the character in the editor so that they are the exact same size on screen and are on top of each other, then adjust the character in the editor until it matches the photo.

This is probably the easiest method once you have figured out how to use both the tool and the character editor effectively.

The old-fashioned way would be to just place a mirror next to your display. This works too, but it's of course more difficult than to directly drag on a face until it has the same proportions as the photo on top.

I wasted time setting this up with my old ipad only to find out its only for expressions.
