Inventory bag and cooking

I dont know if its me and I am making something wrong, or its just a think what is not working (now), but I have lettuce and want to use it to cook. Does this work at all and how does it work? The handling of the inventory is a little hard to deal with. I put it out, till I can click it a gain my zoi puts it back in the bag and we make this a few times. Also how can I sell stones or produce from the inventory? The sales table on the piazza does not work I can only look at it. Dont get me wrong, I love this game, but some things are not so smooth and this is ok, it is early access. I just want to know, does it work, when yes how and when not, is it in planing? Thanks in advance!

Having grown numerous Carrots, Blueberries, Tomatoes, etc (avid Sims Gardener) I find my Bag full of produce (Potatoes & sweet potatoes cannot be put in the bag) ... none of which can be transferred to the Fridge.

With this produce in my bag I proceeded to cook several meals, meals that WOULD use Tomatoes, Carrots, etc ... but the produce remained in my bag - so as of this time I do not believe this is functional.

Growing ANY produce right now is pretty pointless, as you can not put it away nor can you sell it.

Even the Tomatoes you buy from Pocket Mart are currently useless Bag - fillers at this time.

The only thing I found out you can do with it, you can buy a normal table, not the flea market table and put it on your lot. I put mine near the street in front of my garden fence. Put the produce on it than you can click and sell used items. This way at least you can empty your bag and the gardening was not usless. I hope the feature to cook with it will come in a futuere update.
