It is a little difficult to get used to the interface with so many options that pop up when you go to make a selection. Like when you go to interact with another zoi a whole lot of options pop up. Will take some time to get used to especially since the font is so much smaller than people would be used to if coming from the sims games.
It does feel a little empty which is the biggest complaint I have seen so far but the sims always felt pretty dead to me and I still enjoyed those games. The first three at least since I never played the fourth one.
Map view could use better icons to differentiate between locations and little things like that could be improved. Would like to be able to lower the walls in buildings and if we can I have not figured that out just yet. Makes viewing your zoi at times difficult.
Would like to know a little more about what we should expect at full release as far as features and game play compared to what we get with the early access. It does need something more to make if feel livelier but I have enjoyed it so far.
The UI is a bit lackluster where you don't exactly know what to do and relationships are very one dimenosial at the moment, You can basically become friends with the entire town by spamming "hey lets talk about X(topic)" same goes romantically.
Also the start amount is way too much like 55K makes the game too easy in my opinion you can get a whole 2 story villa for that price and a car which makes me feel like I don't really have any set goals money wise.
Driving is very arcadey , You can literally move 180 degrees in the same space by not even touching the gas pedal it's like the car has the ability to move in place without anything to push it.
Overall 6.5/10
I have problems with the balance. Between 7 an 8 Am my children had 2X breakfast and a mango, still they went to school with 20% filled stomach. I now learned how to get them to eat from a distance.
It's The Sims all over again. When a Zoi is hungry, and you send it home, don't switch character or they will forget all and continue to be hungry.
I had some weird animation issues but nothing which is game breaking. No crashes on my side, but my PC is a little better.
85k+ concurrent for a niche game in the middle of the day on a work week no less.
NOT BAD
- Faster days
- A different layout of options when communicating with other Zois (it's messy)
- Ability to do challenges similar to sims where you can start with $0
- Ability to move faster when travelling around.
- Hunger drops way too fast, I'd like to see slower decline
- There's lag with time when you speed game-play up fast, or when sleeping at night.
My biggest issue is time, even after changing the day to be shorter, it's still to long.
Tbh, I wish krafton implemented an llm in phones so player could send texts to other zois and get responses.
Knowing that it was early access, I was already prepared for there to be many bugs and game issues. The developers have been doing a great job listening to our feedback and fixes bug issues quickly. They have produced a roadmap that tells us what will be rolling out this year as updates, which I am really excited for.
One of my favorite things to do in Sims4 was building homes and character creating. I love that Inzoi has this feature that goes beyond some of the things Sims did.
Once the developers add the updates to ingame play, I'm sure it'll be even more fun.
