I see. I think we just have a different take on the term "lumpenprole" as it applies to today. By your definition, I'd consider a ton of the terminally online "anti-woke" reactionaries as belonging to your "lunmpenprole" as well. Perhaps this is just a growing sector as people are increasingly de-skilled and made dependent on technologies like "smart" tech, "AI", and online services all controlled by tech oligarchs. They're less and less wage slaves and more and more serfs.
Anyway, I think we agree on the broad strokes of the conversation. I was just adding my observations to what you said.
Neo serfs, so i guess we are living in a feudal punk dystopia? It's a weird time. They deskilled the people because they wanted to control them, but as some of the reactionaries point out, they need these very skilled people to keep the systems going. I have heard it said that revolutionaries are reactionary to an extent. I tend to agree with that. Something will have to give.
anyway, i like the look of the dollhouse game, but my concern now is with the nividia ai. How fleshed out is that feature in other games?
Someone also mentioned city building, so does the inzois or whatever they are, do they influence the world around them? Can they impact the local economy?
Its out of control is what it is, I enjoy the Sims but I can't justify dumping almost $1000 for the DLC.
The world is changing and every action has its reaction. Generally that reaction tends to be futile, though. The momentum of the world is hard to slow or stop no matter the wailing and gnashing of teeth. When the dust settles, the whole conversation about "woke" will seem pedestrian and outdated. The true revolutions happen without much notice. Things just change.
As far as this game, I just came here to see what it's about and found these normal kinds of discussions going on and kind of jumped in I guess. I haven't seen anything revolutionary about inZOI so far. You can customize the world to a degree, such as moving sliders for how many cars you want on the roads. But you can't make any fundamental changes, as far as I'm aware, like making it a car-free city altogether. I'm sure impacting the local economy is either a far off feature or never even been considered as a possibility. The game seems mostly derivative at the moment, with the most fundamental change being the inclusion of "AI", which is mostly a technological grift. Early reviews noted a lack of being able to influence the world.
I'm just planning to watch its development and see if this is just another game that'll pile some chrome onto this minimalist chassis or if it's truly still in development and doesn't have all of its features yet. So far I'm not that optimistic, but I'm still going to watch it just in case something interesting happens. For me it doesn't look as ambitious as Paralives.
Wrong. Woke was originally coined as a term when someone was aware of what was happening behind the scenes and didnt buy into mainstream marketing/media and capitalism. Establishment awareness.
Now its been converted to the internet safe way of saying minority/♥♥♥/trans.
No need to even waste time trying to add all these Charlie Kirk/brietbart spins to it. Call it what it was and is.
I don't consider it woke, there's a "non-binary" (the devs didn't care about it, I know it is there but I didn't see it) and there's none of that modern audience crap, it's far from DA:Failguard and avoided.
Regarding the graphics, it actually looks like any other game made in UE5 (which I hate) and it actually has a lot of content for an early access (There will be mods, so it will be good), but not enough to keep you going for long, it all depends on your preference, it's not a fast-paced game but it's even good for relaxing. Especially if in your last CS match your team was full of idiots who made you want to burn everything.
It was never interesting to begin with.
