Can we gay in the game? Impossible to date?

So I was researching the game before purchase and found several threads on reddit where people were complaining that all zoi townies NPCs are straight and they don't even try to lean gay after the player's character tries to romance with them. And there's no way to change their settings

So, dear people:
Are NPC Zois hardcoded str8?
Can the NPC settings be changed?
Are there cheats to change their characteristics/ preferences?

I like starting with 1 character and building relationships with random townies in "the other life simulation game" but seems to be impossible in InZoi... :(

Just like real life most people pretend to be vanilla/PG until you become really good friends and then they never shut up about their sex life. I'm good friends with half my town IRL and not one of those freaks is straight edge AT ALL. Most of them say they are Christian too. It's crazy how they justify their lives. I seriously want to save up enough money for a boat to load up my cat and myself to sail away from all the human primates on the planet.

To be clear I'm very much an ally of inclusiveness and support all peoples. I just don't want to hear about kinky sex swinger parties and 360 no scope spraying hippo positions any more.

I'm role playing a woman looking for female partner, and after talking to 20 or so NPCs, all of them are straight so far. Think the only option at the moment is to create a family, not tried it yet.

Yeah but that's not fun. Creating them from the beginning.

I like to make drama. Start with one sim. Hunt a married dude, get him. make him divorce, take their money and children and move in my household. rise and repeat =)) the way to get rich lol.

You can set up in settings male / female ://: , where ://: is setting for romance option.
in-game in Map (M), left up is "All families" where You can add Your own Family (with added romance options) and swap with existing (on full houses) and fill empty houses, if You download sims from App, it takes +-1h.

Add to the game maybe in future updates.

SOme have resolved it with flirting- becoming close etc. it is a pattern that allows it.

Not all will be receptive. So build trust info requirements first. IF they shift to receptive after yo uwill get the clue then can ask, it applies for any sex npc and setup, even married couples have to maintain it.

WHat you can easily do is create another zoi in a blank lot - same sex and attraction. send him to the other with Autonomy turned on and rp it out till you get the propose option then marry and merge.

I totally agree! :D Thats how those games are ment to be played.
