Currently as I understand it, no, the point is to develop a family and eventually be playing the decendants of your Zois.

Would also like an option to stop aging. Some people just want to play one character for good, not create a family or not see the character age and die.
Also as far as I understood you can just change the length of a day but not change how many days a year can have. Which results into very quick aging.
Maybe eventually a stop-aging potion or something can be added

I mean death is a form of stopping aging.
Agreed at the very least a cheat, but if it's an option I'd love it. I disabled aging on all my Sims games. I get attached to my characters, either because I create me in the game or of someone I love and them dying due to aging just kills the game for me. I still bought and will play it to learn it but hopefully something on a no aging setting will be put in the options etc.

I don't disagree, I do play legacies and rotations in Sims, but it currently doesn't bother me that my Zoi will age and die. It does bother me that the baby/toddler stage is so short that it's "blink and you'll miss it" stage. They also don't really celebrate or notify you about birthdays, your toddler just might be a kid when you walk into the room next. My Sims did usually age and die (cause legacy player), but I like making the age spans a bit longer so it doesn't happen too quickly. So I wouldn't mind age-span control, but if that's a year down the road problem. I am sure they will take the feedback. Right now this is early access, it's not even a finished build of the game yet. If you want hyper controlled lifespans this isn't the game for you (yet).

I really like the game! But... it just doesn't make much sense to keep playing knowing all my lovingly created Zois will age and die. Then there's no point in continuing to play :/. There really needs to be an option/cheat/mod whatever that stops the aging.

cant it be turn off?
Imaging spending hours on your character just to realize you will lose it after a long azz grind.

I mean the point is the new Zoi you get to play that grow up in game, lol. Its always exciting to me to see who they become, which is why aging doesn't bother me. But I get that's not everyone's jam. And they likely will add aging pause at some point. But I also think they are walking a tightrope on NOT copying how the Sims does things and figuring out how InZoi does it. As long as they don't take away aging and death, I'm fine. I want aging and death and to see the results of genetics 7 generations later (like how much of my Zoi is retained), I just want more control of the time I spend with each gen of Zoi along the way.
In game or real life? IF you find the real life one PIN IT TO THE TOP!

Exactly that :O. Who wants to lose a character you've grown fond of and spent so much time with in the character editor ^^ Knowing that the Zois age relatively quickly puts a big damper on continued play. Instead of the stupid money cheat they should have included an option to turn off aging ^^.

in city management the health stat prolongs the zois lifespan but that's it i think
