Siblings

Tried making siblings to share a house but the option isn't available. They can be roommates and they can be married, but they can't be siblings. The only way I've found to create siblings is to create a parent as well, which obviously I can do, but don't want. More relationships when creating a family would be nice. I did notice that you can create children that are related to one parent, but not the other. That was cool. Now if I could start a game with brother/sister, aunt and nephew, etc., that would be great.

same with grandparent/grandchild. I wanted to create a family with a widowed grandfather suddenly tasked with raising his grand-kid after the parents died in an accident-I can only make him the father or roommate-I'll just have to compensate with my head canon

Same. I created twins and had to make a random mom before they could be brother and sister.. I just want the twins and not the mom.

Create old. Create adult or teen children. Kill old in "accident". Happy days are here again. Enjoy your CK3 fantasy.

i wanted to setup siblings as well, but the option doesn't exist. it's clearly not implemented yet and will be in a future update.

Yeah adding a common parent set them as siblings, specifically as sisters

I didn't think to add a common parent when starting in. I made twins and because there was no sibling option, let them be roommates... yeah so he started flirting with her. Deleting the save.

Thing is you shouldn't need to make a parent for two zois to be siblings, what if someone wants to make a household with two elder zois being siblings that could pose a problem.

You can not set siblings if you don't have parents. I know it's weird.
The family setting only appears if certain requirements are met, otherwise it only says Roommate.

to create a child that will have both adults as parents. the parents MUST be married.

I know it's weird. and other such restrictions are included in the current patch.


But why don't you just create a family with parents? Separate the household. Let the siblings move in somewhere else, and delete the parents.

Because once created you can only delete an entire household not just one individual zoi, trust me I tried.

Choose your family
Choos a family not in city
click on the zoi(s) you want to move and press the arrow in the center to move them
